Co-founder: Freddy Budaramani
Born in the country's northern province, he has spent the last decade guiding travelers of all types through the myriad sights and scenes that his country and those that border it have to offer.
From his home in Ruhengeri (known today as Musanze), he has developed an intimate friendship with the famed mountain gorillas and the guides who take groups to see them.
But his years of experience and various clients have taken him well beyond the standard gorilla fare that Rwanda is so noted for. He, with the assistance of his well-trained associates where required, has managed volunteer tours, cultural tours, eco-tours as well as business clients. Gorilla Select Safaris can design a package to meet the desires, needs, and budgets of his patrons.
With local knowledge and years of experience in East Africa, you will travel safely and comfortably while visiting unique, off-the-beaten-path sights and habitats in Rwanda, Uganda, and Burundi.

Voluntourism
Voluntourism is alive and well in Rwanda. Gorilla Select Safaris has substantial experience with groups arriving in the country to participate in community service projects. Gorilla Select Safaris is well acquainted with the aid organizations within the country and has provided services to a variety of non-profit organizations outside of the country as well.
